Behind the Scenes of #TheWayWayBack

The Way Way Back Trailer is out and you can spot me just about everywhere in it including the picture of me with my pink and white bag (pictured below). Meredith Prunty in the Way Way Back movie (still)I spent 7 days having fun playing at the water park and on the beach – best job ever! The food was great on the set (Thanks to Mike’s caterers)  and I know the movie will be a big hit. Here is the official write-up of this movie:

“THE WAY, WAY BACK is the funny and poignant coming of age story of 14-year-old Duncan’s (Liam James) summer vacation with his mother, Pam (Toni Collette), her overbearing boyfriend, Trent (Steve Carell), and his daughter, Steph (Zoe Levin). Having a rough time fitting in, the introverted Duncan finds an unexpected friend in gregarious Owen (Sam Rockwell), manager of the Water Wizz water park. Through his funny, clandestine friendship with Owen, Duncan slowly opens up to and begins to finally find his place in the world – all during a summer he will never forget.”

Since I am an anti-bullying advocate it is particularly interesting to me because Duncan is being bullied by his mother’s boyfriend. I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds.

#Examiner Article on my #Antibully efforts

I recently had the honor of being interviewed for an article by reporter Ken Murray. I really appreciate the opportunity to get the anti-bullying word out and love all of my fans for making it the most shared* article on Mr. Murray’s Examiner series “Local Talent Showcase”. The article also talks about my busy summer on the movie sets that are being filmed around the Boston area.  Click on my picture and it will link you to the article.
